One of the major challenges for a Project Manager is collaborating with ever changing teams, and knowing how to get results fast and effectively. Teams in general, and certainly project teams will evolve with growing expertise, processes, interactions and experiences. The success of such teams depends for a large part on the strengths of individuals, the structure of the team, and the efficiency of the processes.
Knowledge of the preferences and styles of his/her team members are key to a PM. the better the talents of each individual can be employed in a team, the more effective the team results will be. Through careful analysis, human behavior can be subdivided into one of four quadrants. Each quadrant will reflect the styles and preferences of the people in that group. This will help the Project Manager to create a healthy team.
In this workshop, we’ll look at ways to make teams more effective and to promote interaction to reach a common goal and be successful.
This one-day workshop is facilitated by José Hendrikx, founder of Straight Business Partners. She is also the trainer of the Leuven MindGate workshop 'The Essentials of Project management'.
