High-Tech Growth Management : Module VII : Keeping an eye on performance

Prof. Dr. Werner Bruggeman, Professor of Management Accounting and Control at the University of Ghent and at the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School.
Mr. Jan Schoevaerts, Managing Director, MEDA.

In the midst of the inherent turbulence of daily operations and developing products and markets, one can easily lose sight of critical performance indicators. The purpose of this module is to explain the concept of the Balanced Scorecard and to show (1) how it can be applied to translate strategy into performance measures on the functional, business unit and corporate level of the company and (2) how it can be used to put strategy into action as a management tool for change.
