Creating a balanced organisation: keeping an eye on performance
Session 6 of the Integrated Course on High Tech Growth Management.
In the midst of the inherent turbulence of daily operations and developing products and markets, one can easily lose sight of critical performance indicators. The purpose of this session is to explain the concept of the Balanced Scorecard and to show (1) how it can be applied to translate strategy into performance measures on the functional, business unit and the corporate level of the company and (2) how it can be used to put strategy into action as a management tool for change.
